How do Coverage/URL Credits Work?

FAQ

How do Coverage/URL Credits Work?

URL credits are used when you add online articles or social post links. Print, TV, radio, podcasts and social stories are unlimited.

Releasd includes a wide range of integrated analytics.

As the volume of coverage in a report increases, so do the underlying costs for data.

As such, each account has a limit in terms of the number of coverage links that can be added per month or (if paying annually) per year across all reports.

What uses a URL credit?

Each link you add for:

Online coverage or Social posts (YouTube, Linkedin, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X).

What does not use a URL credit?

Print coverage, TV coverage, Radio or Podcast (Audio) coverage or Social media stories (uploaded screenshots or video clips).

You can add as much of this to your reports as you like.

How do monthly vs annual credits work?

Monthly plans: Your credits reset to your full allowance on your billing date. Unused credits don’t roll over. For example, on a 500 credit plan you start every month with 500.

Annual plans: You get your full year’s credits on day one, to use at any point during your annual subscription. This suits teams whose coverage volumes vary through the year. Unused credits expire at renewal.

Can I see how many credits I have left?

This is shown in your control panel and when you add new URLs to the Online Coverage or Social Posts widget.

FAQ

What happens if I run out?

You’ll see a warning when your allowance runs low. Once you hit your limit, you won’t be able to add new online or social links until your credits reset or you buy more.

Print, TV, audio and social stories can always be added, even with no credits left.

If I delete a link, do I get the credit back?

No, a credit is used once the link’s data has been pulled, even if you later delete it.

If I add the same link to two reports, does it use two credits?

Yes, each link in each report uses a credit.

However, you can either clone a widget and send it to another report, or merge existing coverage into the one you're working on. This does not use extra URL credits.

Does duplicating a report use more credits?

No it doesn't.

Does refreshing metrics, or running AI analytics on coverage, use extra credits?

No, it doesn't.

Can I get more credits?

Yes. You can add credits as a one-off top-up or increase your plan allowance permanently.

Extra credits are a paid add-on. Pricing depends on your plan.
