Adding Social Posts to the Widget

There are three ways add social posts:

1. Paste URLs in bulk for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and Pinterest

2. Upload images or video clips (for Stories and other post types not already covered)

3. Pull in posts from other Releasd reports

1. Paste URLs in bulk for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and Pinterest posts

Select the option to add URLs:

Paste as many URLs as needed, in bulk, from LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X or Pinterest:

Click 'Submit URLs' and the tool will fetch all of the posts.

2. Upload images or video (for Stories and other post types not already covered)

Stories can't be embedded, so you can upload screenshots or video instead:

Account name, platform and metrics can be added manually:

So it will look like the below:

Scenario 1:

  • User adds 3 Instagram posts: 2 normal posts and 1 Story

  • User gets automated metrics for the 2 normal posts, and manually adds metrics to the Story

  • In the Summary Metrics widget, user can display Total Social Posts, Total Instagram Posts, Total Instagram Views and these will be pulled from the 2 normal posts + 1 Story

Scenario 2:

  • User adds a screenshot of a Bluesky post and selects Bluesky as the platform

  • User manually adds metrics to the Bluesky post

  • In the Summary Metrics widget, user can display Total Social Posts, Total Social Views etc and the Bluesky post will contribute to these; ie the Bluesky post will be recognised

  • However, the user cannot display 'Total Bluesky Views' for example

3. Pull in posts from other Releasd reports

Select this option to add posts from existing reports in your account:

1. Refreshing Metrics

Note that metrics are in Draft mode initially.

Automated metrics will be refreshed when the report is Published.  We therefore recommend only publishing a report when it's ready to send.

2. Manually Changing Metrics

You can change metrics at any time by editing the widget and clicking on the data.
