FAQ

How do Coverage/URL Credits Work?

URL credits apply to online coverage and social media posts only. There is no cap on print or broadcast coverage.

Last updated on 27 Oct, 2026

Releasd includes a wide range of integrated analytics.

As the volume of coverage in a report increases, so do the underlying costs for data.

As such, each account has a limit in terms of the number of coverage links that can be added per month or (if paying annually) per year across all reports.

What types of coverage are included in URL credits?

URL caps only apply to:

Online media coverage.

Social post links (YouTube, Linkedin, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X).

What types of coverage are excluded from URL credits?

URL caps do not apply to:

Social media stories (i.e. uploading screenshots or video clips)

Print coverage

TV coverage

Radio or Podcast (Audio) coverage

You can add as much of this to your reports as you like.

How do monthly vs annual URL credits work?

If paying monthly, URL credits reset each month.

If you have a cap of 500 per month, and some are unused, these will refresh to 500 the following month.

Monthly URL credits do not roll over.

If paying annually, all URL credits are added to your account on day 1, and can be used over the 365 day period.

This option is best if coverage volumes vary throughout the year.

Can more coverage credits be added if needed?

Yes, URL credits can be increased on an ad hoc or permanent basis.
